Available Aussies

Aussies are a wonderful breed...in the right home. For those who fit the Aussie's profile, few other breeds can match their intelligence and devotion. Others may find themselves with more dog than they bargained for, and a liability on their hands. If you are new to the breed, please be sure to do your homework before moving forward. Start here for more information about the breed as a family companion, and feel free to email with questions and concerns to see if this might be the right - or wrong - breed for you.

Pups are NOT sold on a first come, first served basis, and much time and consideration is taken in matching each pup with potential homes for a strong lifetime bond (please visit the Policies page for more information about selection and placement. In order to facillitate this, we ask that every potential home complete a Puppy Questionnaire.

Born January 2, 2012

Rafe
ASCA Ch. Am. GCh. Hearthside Master of Disguise Watermark Vineyard Tashmoo RN

Charade is a dog I've known since he was born, and from the very beginning he has been an absurdly "nice" dog in all regards: super-sweet temperament, vey easy to live with, extraordinary mover, with lovely structure to support it. Calm and steady, he does have a weakness for "hedgies". Charade has multiple Champion and performance titled offspring.

Tash was from Rory's very special first "Wild Thing" litter by Bravo. She has her mother's loving personality, a "can do" attitude, and gets along with absolutely everyone, of every species. She has had very limited showing experience, and in her photos from her last show she is absolutely naked, but her coat hides nothing, and she has lovely, correct structure and movement.

We are now taking reservations for what we expect to be an outstanding blue and black litter.

Available Adolescent and Adult Aussies

AKC / ASCA Ch. Watermark Center Stage
"Mac"

Mac was the pup I certainly didn't need, but couldn't place in a pet home because he felt unbelievably "good in your hands." This pup's natural balance was evident from the start, and he earned his first ASCA major from the puppy classes. Mac has been a joy to live with, but loves to show and desires a couch and bed of his own to sleep on. He is a clean, easy house dog who lives well with others, and would love to continue his show career. Sadly, we won't take him beyond these titles, and he is related to every dog here to a greater or lesser degree, making him inappropriate for our breeding program.
**Sale pending**

Ryan

Watermark Undaunted
"Ryan"

Ryan is the last of the Teagan daughters, and by an unknown (to most) working cattle dog who also happens to be a blue-eyed tri. The top of her pedigree is more obscure, making her a nice outcross for most. She is sweet and loving, has never met a stranger, but is a bit more independent and serious. Though she's never been tested on stock, her behavior leads me to believe she might have a fair amount of instinct.

Available at Plum Ridge Training Center:
Tanner

Watermark Bronzed in the Sun
"Tanner"
(Howlyn Two Minute Warning x Ch. Hearthside's Shaming the Sun CGC/TDI, AKC/ASCA CD)

Tanner has shown great potential, but hasn't been out much. As a youngster, he placed 3rd in Open Red at the USASA Nationals, and had major reserves from the puppy classes at the Tarheel shows. Looking for a solid rear? He has it, and reproduces it. He has major pointed and obedience titled offspring from very limited breedings, lives well with other males, small dogs, and children, and is easy to live with in the house. OFA good, hips normal, eyes cleared annually, DNA-CP, MDR1 N/?
